Another Miami classic produced by "Pretty" Tony Butler. Every record he released back then was an absolute banger. Although not the original Debbie Deb on vocals, the song was still a big hit. This was one of the Debbie Deb "imposters" who took over the mic, after the original was dropped for being overweight. I think this one's real name was Anne Williams. She would later recorded the freestyle song "Cries in the dark" under her own name. "I'm searching" hit the Billboard Dance Sales charts at #8, and it also manage to crack the the Hip Hop/R&B charts at #72. Lookout for the real Debbie Deb who's still out there performing her classic hits.
